I was just watching that VH1 show the pick up artist, It was the first episode where all the nerds go into a party and screw up, then the pick up master goes in and talks to every single girl and gets all the attention and everything, and I can see why, he was confident and he looked better then all the other guys.
Im looking at that and Im think yeah, I wish i could do that, but all the dating tips i read for guys are just about how to get laid, What do I do If I actually want to talk to a girl and try to start a relationship, how do I meet women if I want that, Im not the kind of person who can just jump from women to women without caring
Am i screwed.
Well first of all. you cant "learn" how to approach a girl that you want to have a relationship with. because then…its like you try to hard. and usually end up messing it up. When you approach a girl you have to think of it more as she would be a intresting person to talk to and if a long term realtionship comes from it…that great. if it doesnt. you wont feel so let down or so upset about it because it wasnt what you were looking for anyway.
As for approaching a women/girl you must always have confidence. look her directly in the eyes…but dont give her a death stare. when you introduce yourself. lightly shake her hand or dont at all..some girls are odd about that. but just get the balls to walk up to her and when you do. start off by saying hi my name is so and so whats yours. or something that i say because im a big eyes guy. be like hi my name is…..and i couldnt help but notice how beautiful your eyes are. because with that…its on the border of being a pick of line…but your paying her a compliment. but the main thing is have confidence in yourself. dont worry if she thinks your attractive or hot or w/e. if you are attracted to her. then go for it. if she says sorry no thanks or whatever then its ok. move on.
Other then that. dont ever play the slick guy that bouts off remarks about her or how hot or fine she is. that is rude and very…forward which you dont want to be right off the bat. other then that man….just luck. and good luck to you. hope you find what your looking for.

The lessons given through that show and through the book "the game" can be used by any guy for any purpose. Much if it is a starter for guys. I way to get noticed by the girl that may not normally notice him. Have you ever seen the movie "hitch"? It's about making that impression and showing that you do indeed exsist. The methods don't have to be used for the soul purpose of getting a piece. In the second episode, the woman who practiced lines with Spoon even stated that the methods could be used as such. You can't make this about what it's most often used for, but what you can use it for. It's something to help build your confidence for the approach until the woman can better understand the good things that she wouldn't normally see.
